Mike Prasad is the Co-Founder and CEO of GirlGamer.com, the female-focused social network and media company, and Principal at The {m} Consultancy. A rare Los Angeles native, lifelong gamer and technophile, Mike has been in the tech industry for over a decade. With a mixed background in technology, branding, social media, marketing, business development and strategy, Mike has applied his unique insight in many notable ventures, including national campaigns for big brands, viral new media projects, and was previously one of the youngest CTOs of a publicly traded tech company.
Currently, he drives growth at GirlGamer, works with clients at The {m} Consultancy, and is organizing Engage L.A., Los Angeles' first native-focused tech & new media convergence conference. Mike is a frequent speaker on Twitter, social media, marketing and branding and is very active within the tech community and startup space, working with companies such as Black Card Circle, Trailer Park, Fatburger and Kogi BBQ, a brand which he created and launched resulting in nationwide recognition and a cult following in under two months. He is also currently testing out new progressive social media strategies in the music and financial stock industries.
